Bright and serene, Cedar Lake is a sunlit ode to summer’s golden hour—the warm hush before twilight on a still lake. The original collage was created with wildflowers foraged along the shoreline of my family’s camp in Northern Maine: feathery yarrow, buttercups, clover, and queen anne’s lace gathered from the water’s edge and nearby woods. With its airy composition and soft palette of greens, creams, and yellow-golds, Cedar Lake captures the nostalgia of freshwater swims, firefly evenings, and the gentle rhythm of long summer days.
