about the work
I create bespoke, museum-quality pressed flower artworks using botanicals that are foraged, grown, and carefully preserved by hand. These custom pieces are designed in close collaboration with each collector—drawing on personal stories, meaningful places, and seasonal beauty to create heirloom works of art.
Crafted in my light-filled studio beneath the pines of Camden, Maine, each botanical collage is made with archival materials and a painter’s eye for color, movement, and form. These are slow works, made to last.

“It’s an honor to bring someone’s story to life through botanicals. The process is deeply personal—and endlessly rewarding.”

The process
Here’s how we’ll work together to bring your vision to life:

Anniversary Commission | Resin on Panel
Herbaceous Spiral
This piece was commissioned for an art school alum as a gift for his wife—he gave me full creative freedom, but requested something more herbaceous and delicate. At the time, I was working with bold blooms, so building this spiral from ferns, foliage, and fine textures felt like a refreshing shift. I created this during my early resin days, working out of my tiny studio apartment in San Diego (affectionately called “the mouse house”). I poured the resin in my kitchen, opened every window and spent the night at a friend’s place to escape the fumes. The process was scrappy, but the result felt like a turning point in my practice.

Gordon & Smith Collaboration
Jackie's Board
This surfboard was a surprise gift from Jackie’s husband—he wanted something as unique and meaningful as she is. I spent over ten hours in the Gordon & Smith shop creating the floral inlay by hand. During those two days, Debbie, the owner, would pop in to check on the progress. We connected over her love of flowers and her memories of pressing blooms with her grandmother. Those quiet conversations added something extra to the piece—layers of story, time, and care that now live on in the board.

Wedding Flower Preservation | Parent Gift Piece
Katie & Pete
This framed piece is one of three created from Katie and Pete’s wedding flowers—a full collection designed for their home and for each of their parents. The couple brought several buckets of blooms, and I spent over 12 hours carefully pressing and preserving them. This smaller piece was made as a gift for family, featuring fall textures and a joyful mix of dahlias, cosmos, goldenrod, and ferns. It’s always an honor to preserve moments like these—especially when they’re shared across generations.
