Hosmer Pond Forage
Created in the golden stillness of late summer, Hosmer Pond Forage is a reflection of quiet walks around one of my favorite freshwater ponds in Camden, Maine. The botanicals—soft ferns, meadow clover, Queen Anne’s lace, yarrow, and tiny wildflowers whose names I may never know, but whose presence marks the end of August in this part of the world.
Each specimen was pressed by hand and arranged to preserve the gentle abundance of the season—the moment before everything turns. This piece holds the memory of slow mornings, filtered sunlight, and the kind of beauty you only notice when you’re moving with intention. Rooted in place and process, Hosmer Pond Forage is a tribute to the woods and waters I return to again and again.
