Thoughtfully Collected & Sustainably Foraged
Being aware of the specimens that I forage is of great importance to me. I pay attention to the varieties of flowers I'm picking, where I'm gathering them and how much I'm taking with me. The majority of wildflowers I collect are from my yard or neighborhood - found in the ditches on the side of the road. Occasionally I'll gather cuttings while on a hike or from a friends garden.
I pay thanks to the land for it's offerings and help to spread the seeds of transitioning blooms. Lending a hand where I can and giving back through acts of service is a sacred practice that I plan to continue for as long as I live. Whenever I take something I give thanks and give back.
